Security & compliance
A notification layer built to protect the people you reach.
Loopden is designed to send sensitive, time-critical messages responsibly — with data minimization, encryption in transit, and a FERPA- and COPPA-aware posture for schools and youth programs.
Data minimization
Loopden reads only the event data it needs to deliver notifications. Your existing tools remain the system of record; we don't duplicate sensitive data we don't need.
Encryption in transit
Connections to your software and to delivery providers are made over encrypted channels.
FERPA & COPPA aware
For schools and youth programs, Loopden's handling of student and minor data is built with FERPA and COPPA obligations in mind.
Scoped access
Integrations connect with the narrowest access required to drive your notifications, and nothing more.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Loopden FERPA compliant?
- Loopden is built with FERPA and COPPA obligations in mind and is designed for use by schools and youth programs. We work with education customers to meet their specific data-handling requirements; reach out for documentation.
- Does Loopden store payment card data?
- No. When connected to a payment provider like Stripe, Loopden reads event metadata to drive notifications and never touches card data. The payment provider remains the system of record.
- What data does Loopden need from my tools?
- Only what's required to send the notifications you configure — typically the event and the recipients it should reach. Loopden practices data minimization and requests the narrowest access needed.
